Super X!

Brad and I took advantage of Supercross coming back to SLC and made it a weekend excursion. We got a hotel for 2 nights and left the kids with my mom and dad, and my brother and sister-in-law. We all had our own fun, I think we need to do this more often. We went shopping and to lunch all day Friday but of course, Brad had to come down Friday night and coach 2 soccer games. He couldn't give up all 5 games going on this weekend. I think it took both of us till noon on Saturday, when we were sitting in the hot tub, till we finally learned to relax. I kept telling Brad, "I'm not used to sitting still, I don't know what to do."

We were on row 3, it was awesome!! You could see the bikes roostering the mud.

#7 is James Stewart, this is him going around to take the lead. He won this race which put him 6 points ahead, so he just needs to place in front of Chad Reed-#1 to win the championship next week in Vegas. Does anybody want to teach YW so I can have another vacation?

The Kindy 500!
Taggert (I mean Dad) was supposed to build a soap box car for a school project. Luckily we had saved the box from our new french door refrigerator that is rediculously big. This is a scaled down version from the first attempt after I told Brad it's for Taggert, not him. It turned out pretty cool I must say, notice the smelly tree in behind his head. Mrs. Barber thought that was a nice touch. I'm just surprised it didn't have a motorbike in the back! Brad said he did think of that. He was afraid it might be too heavy. Ya think?

Baby Brevin is here!!

7 lbs. 20 1/2 Inches long 22 days early.

Andy and baby are doing great and both get to come home today!

I think Drexton is a little jealous!

Need to REFI.?

Here's to the best deal of refinancing with Citicorp Financial through a Primerica Rep. We closed on our house about a month ago. We have the same payment, got $10,000 extra to pay off our van and buy a new fridge. The best thing is we signed up for the biweekly payments, which we had done in the past, but with this company your payment is applied to your principal right when they receive it not at the end of the month. So we've already shaved off 8 years of a 30 yr mtg. from the start. Then I sent in a full month's payment as soon as I got our statement and that shaved off another 1 1/2 years. The most assuring news was, when we closed at our house the traveling notary said he had worked with 46 different companies and said this was the only one he knew of with this Smart Save program. If you want more info. you can contact me or my brother Brett Hooper @ 801-623-8101.

Dance Recital!
Addie had a dance performance all day Saturday at the beautiful Covey Center in Provo. So it was just me and Addie and Brad had the boys all day to himself. It was a long day starting with rehearsal at 9:30a.m. and two performances at 5 & 7. She had so much fun hanging out with her dance friends and coming home in between to play with cousins from out of town. Then of course we had to go for ice cream afterwards, Addie's favorite!

Baby Shower For Andy!!

This is our sister-in-laws, Lori and Brittany, and a few friends, Jane Parsons and Julie Degraw working on a quilt for Andy's baby.

Isn't she beautiful!?! Seriously, you should hear her laugh, it makes her even more beautiful. She is such a happy, easy-going person. (I guess you'd have to be to teach preschool all day, right?) This is Andy's second little baby and second little boy. After exactly 8 years she is about to give birth to a lucky little miracle. We are all so excited. She is such a good mom. She got a lot of cute little clothes, and a few toys and blankets. The quilt you see in the background is actually a top my grandma Hooper put togther before she passed away. My mom collected what was not finished and has saved them for the great grandkids. It's become a family tradition for everyone to put a stitch in.

Addie helped set up the table. She's my one who thinks outside the box.

Our sweet mom in the blue who helped put the shower together, Aunt Margo Mellor, and my Addie.

Update!!

I know it's been a while. My computer is still down. (I'm at my mom and dad's right now). Know anybody??

Anyways, we're all good! Healthy, happy, and busy as ever. (Wondering when the next storm will hit--figuratively and seriously)

Brad is busy at work-thank goodness--we'll take that blessing. Coaching soccer again as usual (2 teams) and soon-to-be one t-ball team. We love it!!

Logan--Just registered for junior high. (I'm not that old-he is!) Playing soccer, just got picked as a student of the month at school, Student Council, and having the whole neighborhood over after school to play ball, including girls.

Addie--Just ending dance, playing soccer, super student and loves school, lots of friends, and just had the best weekend ever with her cousin Adyson.

Tag--Would be perfect if he could just learn to use an inside voice. He is such an easy child. Love him to pieces. He can't wait for 1st grade and be able to eat school lunch next year and have 3 recesses.

Drex--Wow!! He keeps me on my toes. What a funny kid! "Mom, we shouldn't say s***. S*** is a bad word, huh?" Also, Brad's little shadow. You can just see him thinking, and you try to stop him before he acts.

Me---Just trying to keep up with all of them, and being the Domestic Engineer. (It sounds important right?) Still in YW-16 Beehives, teaching preschool for 4 more weeks, and loving it all. I did just get a wonderful new fridge, and freezer full of beef, and paid off my van. Yeah!!

I'll try to get that dang computer fixed and post some pics next time.
