"Time for a Change"
I finally feel physically fit for the first time in 5 years. I know alot of you right now are rolling your eyes because your picturing the 5ft.1in. (yes, the 1 is important, I'd like a few more actually) petite Bristy. But there is a difference in looking good and feeling good and feeling like you look good. I like the latter. I guess after having 4 kids in 9 years, at least 4 miscarriages, Endometriosis, 2 major surgeries in the past year and a half-1 being a cut-open full hysterectomy and indoor plumbing repair, I finally feel great!!
We've always been an active family; hiking, biking, walking, karate, coaching everything our kids want to be involved with, but lately I'm hooked on kickboxing. LOVE IT! (Thank you Karron) I've done TAE BO (yes, VHS) for about 12 years, but I admit I've been lazy, just a 5-mile walk or a 10-minute Tae Bo routine or riding the stationary bike here and there while reading, but nothing that I could feel or see making a difference. I am going to miss the kickboxing after this week, when we go back to preschool, so I guess I'll have to break out the 57-minute Tae Bo tape! (Hey, it still works and harder to skip forward, right?!) But after having our open house for preschool this afternoon I love those kids and can't wait to get back, and into a routine.
So I don't know if I'm having a mid-life crisis, turning 35 this year, or it's the hormones talking but I'm also thinking of starting another business (besides Mary Kay consultant). I guess it's just time for another change. So stay tuned more is in the works.....

Logan went to BYU Soccer Camp the second week of June for 4 days and learned a lot. His team played for the championship in the end-of-the-week tournament, they took 2nd, but deserved 1st. (of course, this is the mom speaking) I couldn't believe the difference in his aggressiveness. He is going to be even more fun to watch him play this year AAA.
Logan got invited to got to Timberline @ Mountain Dell in Mt.Pleasant. He reluctantly went for 6 whole days, he did call home once to see if I was okay, but by the end he loved it and got invited back to be on staff next year. And yes, his pack probably weighs as much as him.

Addie decided she wanted her dad's attention in coaching and thought she'd give softball another try. They only won 3 games during the season but now is kicking but in the city tournament.Drexton is now the pep squad leader and gets the crowd involved.

Taggert will be done this week with a long season of Machine/Coach Pitch baseball coached again by our very own best coach Brad.
And amongst all the craziness around here, Brett and Lori(my brother and his wife) had their first baby! Braddock J born June 22, 6lbs 8 oz. 20 in. We're so excited for them. And look at my baby's hand on top of that baby's head. Makes me sad, they grow up too fast.
