The newest member

of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.  He said his birthday was a special day, when I was tucking him in bed that night, but he couldn't wait for Saturday, it was going to be even more special.  Just look at those eyes, he just melts my heart. Congratulations little giggles!

Happy Births Day!!

I can't believe this cutie-pa-tooty is 8!  Happy Birthday Taggert!!
He said at the end of the day his day was special, but he can't wait for Saturday because it will be even more special when he gets baptized. AAAWWWW!
Taggert eating his birthday breakfast.  Blueberry pancakes and 2 fried eggs. YUMMY!!

This is my delicious, beautiful birthday cake one of my neighbor girls from YW made me. She is 16 and awesome!
White cake with white frosting and colored leaves, with gumballs and runts for the pumpkins, and chocolate covered pretzels for the fence, complete with strawberry filling in the middle.

A Weee little harvest

I don't know about the rest of you, but our garden didn't produce half of what we planted, except all that dang zuchinni (which I've learned to shred and freeze). But the boys and I always have fun planting, picking, and looking for new recipes to incorporate our produce. This served them two and that's it, with their dinner.
Check out this tiny, little watermelon from our very own garden.
Drexton's head looks even bigger than usual.

It's Broke!

<>

This is Logan trying to enjoy a frosty on lortab.

We drove two vans to Hyde Park in Logan, Ut for a game Friday Sept.10, me with the 3 younger kids, following Brad in a 15-passenger van with 10 Soccer Boys.  They played that night, won 4-0, then the next morning in Bountiful, won 8-0, so we stayed as a team in Ogden, so fun right? Well 10 minutes into the first game, Logan tripped on the crappiest field I've ever seen.  (Seriously, gopher holes he says. Taggert was catching mice.) Brad can't leave coaching right? So he sends Logan and I to the e.r. where they confirmed by guess of it's broke on the growth plate. GREAT!
They do x'rays, set it back in place, (I was not about to stay for that part, luckily Brad showed up with our other kids and I took them to eat, while he stayed and watched.  He loved it! Not that his favorite, best player was hurt, but the whole hospital seen.), put him in a splint and said go home and see a Orthopedic Surgeon.
That was not the end of the trip.  After the end of the game Saturday, we turned around and went on up to Idaho Falls for a funeral. Yay! Logan was such a good sport, until we got home Monday and back to the Dr. and he told him he couldn't play for a couple weeks.  THEN HE CRIED!;(

First Day of School

<>
<><>
Drexton's 1st day of his fifth and final year of preschool.  That's what you get when mom is the other teacher, he would rather have Miss Andy, I'm sure glad he does.
This is Drexton on the older kids 1st day of school, but insisted on taking his picture also.
