FINALLY!!

"I finally got my own trophy!"
Funny story: For Christmas Drexton made Brad take him Christmas shopping for me and had him walking all around Kmart looking for a trophy to get me and was sorely dissappointed he didn't find one.  Brad finally asked him, "Why do you want to get mom a trophy?" Drexton says, "because Dad she is the best one at field day at school when we play that game where you hold hands and call a persons name and you have to run through them.  She doesn't let anyone get passed her!"
Hmmmm.... maybe I'm a little too competitive. Red Rover with a bunch of preschoolers? (Maybe it has something to do with my Dad coaching me all those years in softball, and if I didn't run he would be running down the sideline with me with clipboard in hand.)
So guess what I gave Drexton for his birthday? His very own trophy! Labeled:
Red Rover Award
Drexton Brower
2nd place after mom
This is his cake. YES, I made this! Why did everyone keep asking this question? Do I not come off as the crafty type? As long as I look at a picture I think I can figure it out, I'm a visual adult getting better with the Adult Onset of ADHD. (self-diagnosed)

Do you like SUGAR?

Is there sugar in sugar cookies?  Then YES!!

Thanks to our wonderful friends around the corner we had a fun FHE with a talent show and cookie decorating.  Some of the kids were competing who could come up with the most clever cookie and I think others were competing who could add the most sugar. Logan decorated and ate 4 before we left and thus did not even make his other 2.  Yes, each person had 6 cookies each, so sad to say this was not all we had.

Bring on the Holidays!

The cutest new Wolf Cub Scout you ever did see!

Logan practicing his SKILLS with the big high school boys.

My only girl who loves to have arts & crafts time with mom.

The not-so-baby  trying to being the center of attention.

"Now why the heck are they blinking?"
Brad usually sits back and watches, but this year scored some ungrinchable points.

Shortly after this pic taken, Addie and I almost performed an ELF moment,
us shorty's getting higher up the tree.

Oh Boy!

A little gun for a little guy.

Same little gun, different little guy.

This one took a little convincing.

A big guy, and his big toy.

My first time shooting a real gun, hit the target, and kind of exhilerating.

Another big guy, possibly wanting to take up another expensive hobby.
OH BOY!

of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.  He said his birthday was a special day, when I was tucking him in bed that night, but he couldn't wait for Saturday, it was going to be even more special.  Just look at those eyes, he just melts my heart. Congratulations little giggles!
