Addie got two of her favorite things for her birthday: clothes and music. She loves to sing and dance in her room.

After a lazy day at home we went to Chuck-a-rama for dinner. That counts for both birthdays for that price for dinner for 6.

She had a good day, but I think she is mostly excited for her baptism on Saturday.

I also want to say, I'm so proud of my kids for speaking in church on Sunday. Even though you could barely see Taggert's head over the pulpit, they all did awesome!

It's Monday, May 26 and Addie is 8 years old. I can't believe it! On the kids birthdays I don't make them do any chores and they get to pick what they want to eat for meals all day. Logan didn't think that was fair until he remembered the same goes for him on Friday.

So you can't tell, but by the end of the day he was holding her on his lap and giving her hugs and asking if she is having a good day. Aw, they really do love each other!

A big shout out to my sister, the best preschool teacher ever! Thanks for such a fun, and wonderful year with by little boys.

Drexton thinks he is a part of all this preschool graduation, even though he has attended class all year, he still has 3 more years left. What a cutie!

So as you can see, we all have had a busy week. I don't think it's slowing down until at least June 1.

So we took the preschool to Wild Wonders out in Genola for a field trip last week, and some cool animals. We're just wondering what this show is rated.

Sorry, you're going to have to turn your head on this one. I can't figure out how to rotate it. But we were so proud of Addie, she did a kata (form) for her second grade talent show. She was the only girl who did karate, and 2 boys who she said didn't look like they knew what they were doing.

All the kids have been taking karate from Grandpa for about 2 1/2 years and last Monday, Tag finally got his orange belt. He was barely 3 when he started.

As Grandpa Hooper would say "Logan, you have arrived. Why do we do our best? To get our names in the paper! And why do we want our names in the paper? Because chicks dig it!"
The team each recieved a champion t-shirt and their picture in the local newspaper.

It was such an exciting game, I thought I left my camera at home and found it in my bag in the car afterwards. Of course! Logan won the championship soccer game today! And when I say Logan (of course I mean the team helped), but he scored the one official playing time goal which tied the game 1-1. Then they had a shoot out! If you've never seen Brad stressed, well today would have been the day. So he had to pick 5 players to shoot the ball and 1 goalie to save the day, or season. So the other team shoots first. And mind you, these kids look twice our size. The first one misses to the side. Our team shoots and scores. There team shoots, goalie saves it. Our team shoots and scores. There team shoots and kicks way over the post. So Logan is next and to secure the win, his dad is not looking, Logan is waiting for the whistle, his dad is still not looking, he kicks, his dad finally watches after shutting up the rest of the team, and he scores!! Brad and I are nearly in tears. It was an awesome game and an awesome short season!!
Thanks to a great coach, these 5-6 graders had a great record and a great time too!

Despite the cold December, we got everybody to smile. Thanks for taking the pictures Brett.

Oh my goodness! I'm not that old am I? Look at this good looking kid. He will be 11 at the end of the month, my how time flies. Logan is the best kid anyone could ask for. He is very thoughtful of others, polite, and a very good helper without being asked. He does very well in school and loves playing soccer, helps grandpa teach karate and takes babysitting very seriously when put in charge.

Oh Adelin. She's so beautiful it's scary (as a parent). Although with 3 brothers, I'd say she is the toughest. She just had her tonsils and adnoids out and loved being spoiled when she woke up, but acted very annoyed with the nurses and i.v. She is very much a girlie girl and loves to sing and dance like her mom, but can hold her own when pushed into a corner.

Here is our sweet Taggert. Always smiling and care free. He would rather hang out at home than do anything else, but occassionally likes to go for mozarella sticks at Arby's. He is very smart and thinks he might by ready for kindergarten though he's not sure about mom and Miss Andy not being the teachers.

This is our Drexton. The mischevious grin and the snowball says it all. He is all boy and can hear a motorbike a mile away. Vroom vroom!
